This class is devoted to understanding the concept of a “calorie” and the basic composition of foods (macronutrients), such as calories, protein, and various types of fats and carbohydrates. We will also discuss how to read and interpret nutritional labels and recognize portion sizes. This class will enhance any efforts to accurately keep track of and compute your overall daily intake (calories) as well as your proteins, fats, and carbs. 60 minutes in length.
