Advanced Food Science is devoted to understanding what happens to foods (and the various types of foods and macronutrients) once they enter your body and the process of digestion and absorption begins. In particular, we will talk about hunger and satiety (fullness) as well as the impact of food on your insulin response (their glycemic index) and how this relates to the experience of hunger and fullness. 60 minutes in length.
