This course reviews the effect that both protein and fat have on overall health, weight loss and maintenance. Topics will include the benefits and risks of high amounts of protein, and will discuss the safety of Atkins like diets. This class will also highlight the different kinds of fats and how to identify good fats from bad fats, and will re-evaluate the age-old thought the fat makes you fat and clogs your arteries.
