“When I get to my goal weight, then I’ll like my body.” Sound familiar? All too often we spend our lives disliking our bodies. Even if you are not at your “ideal weight,” you can have a healthy relationship with your body today. This class is devoted to helping attendees to understand the definition of a healthy body image, how negative body image is developed and maintained, and how a negative body image impairs quality of your life and can sabotage weight loss efforts! You will leave this seminar feeling more accepting of your body, more motivated to change your body image for the better (not just your body!), and equipped with research proven skills to continue working towards a healthier body image long after the seminar ends.
