We offer a 6 month weight loss program used in the initial evaluation and treatment of chronic obesity. Initially you will be assessed from both a medical and behavioral standpoint. The first step is looking for possible medical and behavioral issues that contribute to excess weight. Weight associated medical conditions are assessed and monitored in close consultation with your primary care doctors. Weight loss medication, over the counter supplementation and surgical referral may be part of your treatment plan. Through an educational seminar series you will learn all about the biological and psychosocial factors that effect how many calories we eat and how many calories we burn.
